In one sentence: Novastra stores your Google email and your workouts so you can get them back on another phone. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking identifiers, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone.
Who processes your data
Kraikus, developer of the Novastra app. Contact: contact@novastra.fit.
What we process and why
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Your verified Google email | To identify your account and give you your history back when you sign in. Google checks who you are; the app never sees your password. | Performance of the contract |
| Your workouts: exercises, sets, weights, reps, times, notes, routines, programs and settings | That is the service: logging them, showing your progress and keeping them in the cloud so they do not depend on this phone. | Performance of the contract |
| Body data: weight, height and sex | To compute volume and estimated 1RM, and to draw the muscle map (sex is used for that only). This may qualify as health data. | Explicit consent, given when you enter it |
| Your public profile: star name, visibility level, rank, power, streak, runes and weekly summary | The community features: leaderboard, challenges and following people. You choose how much is visible, including «nobody». | Consent (given when you pick your visibility) |
| Who you follow, your challenge contributions and any programs you publish | To make the community work. A published program carries your star name next to it. | Consent |
| Blocks and reports you make | To moderate user-published content. | Legitimate interest in keeping the service safe |
| A random device identifier generated by the app | To detect that two phones wrote at the same time and warn you before anything is overwritten. It is not an advertising identifier and cannot track you outside the app. | Performance of the contract |
What we do NOT do
- No analytics or usage statistics of any kind.
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- We do not sell, rent or share your data.
- The app does not ask for your contacts, location, camera or gallery. To set a photo on a program it uses the system photo picker, which lets you choose one image without giving the app access to the rest.
- The only permissions it declares are internet and vibration.
Who can see your data
- Nobody sees your history. The copy of your workouts belongs to your account and no server route returns it to anyone else.
- Your email never leaves the server. On the outside your identity is your star name; other users never see your address.
- Other users can see what you publish: your star name, your numbers according to the visibility you choose, and the programs you decide to share.
Where it is stored
On Cloudflare, Inc. infrastructure (Workers and the D1 database), acting as data processor and certified under the Data Privacy Framework for international transfers. There is no other provider: we use no analytics, advertising or notification services.
Google is involved only at sign-in, to verify your identity, under its own privacy policy.
Android may copy the app's data to your own Google Drive through system backup. That copy is yours and Google's; Novastra does not access it. You can turn it off in your phone settings.
How long
- For as long as your account exists.
- Deleting your account removes everything: your cloud copy, your profile, your followers, your challenge contributions and any programs you published.
- We keep only your email on a deleted-accounts list. It is needed for security: session passes last 60 days and survive deletion, so without that list a phone still syncing would recreate the account. That record holds no other data about you.
Your rights
You can access, rectify, erase and port your data, and object to or restrict its processing. In practice:
- Access and rectification: everything is in the app and can be edited.
- Erasure: Profile → Account → Delete my account, or write to us.
- Anything else: contact@novastra.fit. We answer within one month.
If you believe we got it wrong, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or your local authority.
Minors
Novastra is for people aged 16 and over. We do not ask for and do not want data from anyone younger.
Changes
If this changes, this page and the date above are updated. If the change affects what data leaves your phone, you are told inside the app.
