Upright Barbell Row

How to do it

Standing with the bar in front of your thighs, grip slightly wider than your shoulders so you do not close down the joint space. Pull the bar up close to your body **to sternum height, no higher**, leading with the elbows up and out. Lower under control. You feel side delt and traps. If you feel pinching in the shoulder, switch to lateral raises: nobody needs this exercise.
