Reverse Barbell Curl

How to do it

Bar with an overhand grip at shoulder width, elbows tucked. Curl without letting the wrists bend back and lower under control. It works the brachioradialis and the forearm extensors, which is what gives a forearm thickness and protects the elbow of someone who curls a lot. Considerably less weight than a normal curl: that is normal.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
