Standing Military Press

How to do it

Standing, bar on your upper chest, hands just outside your shoulders, elbows slightly forward. Squeeze glutes and abs so your lower back does not compensate. Press straight up and, once the bar passes your forehead, **move your head through** so the weight finishes right over your shoulders. Lower under control to your collarbones. You feel front delt and triceps. The classic mistake is arching your back and turning it into a standing incline press.
