Leverage Iso Row

How to do it

Set the seat so the handles sit at lower-chest height with your chest against the pad. Pull driving the elbows back, squeeze, and return slowly into the stretch. Being guided and supported, this is where you can push closest to failure on back work without risking your lower back. You feel the mid back. The classic mistake is coming off the pad to move more weight.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
