Rope Jumping

How to do it

Low jumps, barely two or three centimetres, and the turn comes from your wrists, not your arms. Elbows close to your body, landing on the balls of your feet. Start with 30-second sets: it is more technical than it looks and the calves load up fast. A good warm-up before upper body work.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
