Incline Dumbbell Curl

You hold two: the weight you log is ONE dumbbell's, and volume counts both.

How to do it

Bench at 45-60 degrees, sit back and **let your arms hang behind your body line**. Curl from there without moving the shoulder. That position stretches the biceps before you start, and training a muscle in a stretched position is one of the highest-yield things you can do: which is why this curl bites so much with so little weight. You feel a pull low in the biceps. Do not raise the elbow to get higher.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
