Hanging Leg Raise

How to do it

Hanging from the bar with active shoulders. Raise straight legs to horizontal or higher, **curling the pelvis at the top** so it is not just hip flexion. Lower under control without picking up a swing. You feel the whole abdomen, especially low down. The classic mistake is using the swing: if you are swinging, do the bent-knee version.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
