Tuck Crunch

How to do it

Lie on your back with your back pressed to the floor and arms at your sides. Raise your legs and **cross your ankles with the knees bent**, thighs making an inverted V. From there, curl your torso up towards your knees and lower slowly without fully resting your shoulders. With the legs tucked and fixed, the hip cannot help and the abs work alone. The classic mistake is swinging your legs for momentum: they stay still for the whole set.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
