Standing Leg Curl

How to do it

Set the machine to your height and stand with your torso leaning forward 30 to 45 degrees against the support, the roller just above your heel. Bend **one knee** bringing the heel towards your glutes, squeeze for a second at the top and lower slowly to a full stretch. Standing, the hip is extended and the hamstring works in a different position from the lying curl: it is worth having both. The classic mistake is arching your lower back to get higher: the hip stays still and only the knee moves.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
