Seated Triceps Press
Triceps · Dumbbell
How to do it
Sit on a bench with a backrest holding **one dumbbell in both hands** by its top plate, overhead with straight arms. Lower it behind your head bending only the elbows, until you feel the stretch, and extend squeezing at the top. With both hands you can load considerably more than one-armed and the backrest stops you arching. The classic mistake is flaring the elbows on the way down: they point forward and stay close to your head.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
