Seated Palm-Up Barbell Wrist Curl

How to do it

Sit with a barbell gripped underhand at shoulder width and your forearms on your thighs, **wrists past your knees**. Let the wrist open fully downwards and close it lifting the bar, squeezing for a second at the top; lower slowly. With a bar both forearms work together and you can load more than with dumbbells. The classic mistake is bouncing the bar at the bottom: the range is done slowly both ways or the wrist complains.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
