How to do it
Stand in the middle of the frame between the handles, feet at hip width. Hinge to grip the handles, chest up and back flat. Push the floor away extending hips and knees to standing and lower under control. With **neutral handles and the weight at your sides**, the bar does not have to clear your knees and the path is straight: you move more than in a normal deadlift. The classic mistake is starting with the hips too high because the handles feel comfortable: the position is built the same way.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
