Pull Through

How to do it

Stand a couple of paces in front of a low pulley with a rope, **facing away from it**, and pass the rope between your legs holding it with both hands. Feet slightly wider than your hips. Push your hips back letting the rope pull between your legs, back flat, and **return by driving your hips forward** until you stand tall squeezing the glutes. It is the easiest hip hinge to learn. The classic mistake is pulling with your arms: your arms are ropes.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
