How to do it
The event is carrying implements up a staircase; for training, a tyre or a box works. Grip the implement with a hip hinge and a flat back, bring it to your lap and from there **drive your hips open hard** to set it on the next step. Step up yourself and repeat. It is explosive deadlifting chained together, so the limit ends up being your breathing. The classic mistake is pulling with your back once fatigue arrives: the moment the lower back rounds, you stop; technique is not negotiable here.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
