One-Arm Kettlebell Push Press
Shoulders · Kettlebell
How to do it
Kettlebell racked on your shoulder, resting on the forearm. Dip a few centimetres with the knees keeping your torso upright and reverse hard; use that drive to send it up and **finish the rep by pressing with the shoulder**, without dropping under. Lower to the shoulder and chain. The dip lets you move noticeably more than you can press strictly, which is why this is the bridge between press and jerk. The classic mistake is leaning forward on the dip: the torso drops straight down, as if sitting.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
