One-Arm Kettlebell Para Press
Shoulders · Kettlebell
How to do it
Kettlebell racked on your shoulder and **your other hand behind your lower back**, which removes the natural counterbalance of the free arm. Squeeze glutes and abs and press strictly to a locked elbow overhead with no leg drive; lower under control. Unable to use the other arm for balance, your core works far harder than in a normal press and any lean shows up immediately. The classic mistake is pulling the hand off your back on the last rep: if it comes off, the set is over.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
