One-Arm Kettlebell Jerk
Shoulders · Kettlebell
How to do it
Kettlebell racked on your shoulder, resting on the forearm with the elbow at your side. Dip a few centimetres with the knees keeping your torso upright and reverse with everything the hips have; as the bell travels up, **drop under it** by bending the legs again and catch it with a locked elbow. Finish by standing tall. The two dips are what make it a jerk: one to drive and one to get under. The classic mistake is doing only the first and finishing with a shoulder press.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
