One-Arm Kettlebell Clean and Jerk

How to do it

Clean the kettlebell to your shoulder, rotating the wrist so it settles on your forearm with the elbow close to your body. Dip with the knees and reverse fast: the drive sends it up and you drop under, locking the elbow. Recover by standing and lower to the shoulder for the next rep. It is hips, not shoulders: **press with the arm and you have done a push press**. The classic mistake is a wrist folded back under the handle, which is what leaves your forearm sore without having lifted anything.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
