How to do it

Tie a climbing rope to a high beam and place a locked fixed bar, or a solid box, underneath it. Stand on the bar holding the rope with both hands, body upright, and travel side to side across the support while your arms control the load. It is grip, lats and core at once, and the real work is your hand refusing to let go. **Check the anchor and the bar lock before getting up there, every time.** The classic mistake is rushing: here a slipping hand is a fall, not a missed rep.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
