How to do it
Log in front of you. Grip the handles, hinge at the hips and clean it, trying to get it **as high as possible** before catching it against your chest; settle it on your torso with your elbows high. From there, dip with the knees and drive up, tucking your head as the log passes your face. The handles are neutral and set inside, so the shoulder works in a more closed position than with a bar. The classic mistake is catching it low: if the log lands at navel height, there is no press left.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
