Kettlebell Turkish Get-Up (Lunge style)

How to do it

Lie on your back and press the kettlebell to a locked elbow; bend the knee on that same side. **Without taking your eyes off the bell**, prop onto your free elbow, then your hand, lift your hips, sweep the back leg into a kneeling position and stand up out of a lunge. Come back down reversing every step. It is five or six positions and the arm never bends in any of them. You feel the shoulder stabilising and the whole core. The classic mistake is rushing: **this is done slowly and light**, or not at all.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
