Incline Push-Up Medium

How to do it

Hands at shoulder width on a fixed bar or any solid support at hip or chest height. Walk your feet back until your body is straight from heels to head. Lower your chest to the bar by bending the elbows, breathe in, and press as you breathe out. **The higher the support, the easier it is**: this is how you scale a push-up without dropping to your knees. You feel the chest and triceps, and the abs holding the line. The classic mistake is letting the hips sag: squeeze the glutes and tuck the ribs from the first rep.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
