Incline Push-Up Close-Grip
Triceps · Bodyweight
How to do it
Hands **together**, almost touching, on a fixed bar or solid support at hip or chest height. Walk your feet back until you are straight from heels to head. Lower your chest to the bar keeping your elbows tucked and press. The close grip aims the work at the triceps, and the raised support lets you dial the load: the higher, the easier. The classic mistake is flaring the elbows when it gets hard; the moment they flare, the chest takes over.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
