Forward Drag with Press

How to do it

Hook a two-handle rope to the sled and face away from it, one handle in each hand and arms tucked. Take a step forward, leaning into it and driving with leg and hip; on every step, extend your arms to press forward. This is chest pressing and walking at once, so breathing rules: exhale on each press. You feel chest and triceps with your heart rate through the roof. The classic mistake is loading the sled as if you were only dragging it: here the arms set the weight, not the legs.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
