Elbow to Knee

How to do it

Lie on the floor and **cross one ankle over the opposite knee**, which stays bent with the foot down. Hands behind your head, fingers not laced. Come up rotating your torso to bring the opposite elbow towards the crossed knee, hold a second and lower slowly. Do all the reps on that side and swap. The crossed leg pins the hip and forces the obliques to do the turning. The classic mistake is pulling on your neck to get closer to the knee.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
