Double Kettlebell Push Press
Shoulders · Kettlebell
How to do it
Clean both kettlebells to your shoulders. Dip a few centimetres with the knees and reverse hard, using that drive to send the kettlebells overhead; **finish the rep by pressing with the shoulder**, without dropping under again. That is the difference from the jerk: one dip, and the arm finishes the job. You feel the delts under more weight than you could press strictly. The classic mistake is letting the knees travel outwards on the dip; they track straight, in line with your feet.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
