Decline Reverse Crunch
Core · Bodyweight
How to do it
Lie on your back on a decline bench and hold the top edge with both hands so you do not slide. Knees bent. **Bring your knees towards your chest lifting your hips off the bench** and lower very slowly. On a decline, gravity pulls your legs down through the whole range: it is the hardest reverse crunch there is without adding weight. The classic mistake is swinging your legs up; if the hips do not lift, the rep does not count.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
