Crunch - Legs On Exercise Ball
Core · Bodyweight
How to do it
Lie on your back with your feet on an exercise ball and your knees bent to 90 degrees. Hands beside your head. Curl up towards your knees and lower slowly, **without the ball moving**. Keeping it still forces legs and abs to work together, which is what this adds to a normal crunch. The classic mistake is pushing the ball with your feet to help: if it rolls, the abs have got out of part of the work.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
