Cable Russian Twists
Core · Cable
How to do it
Pulley at middle height and a single handle. Lie back on an exercise ball perpendicular to the cable, feet planted and hips high. Grip the handle with both hands and straight arms over your chest. **Rotate your torso taking your hands to one side** without bending the elbows, and return under control; do the reps on one side then swap. The ball lets your spine actually rotate. The classic mistake is moving only your arms: the turn comes from the torso, and shoulders and hands travel together.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
