Cable Hip Adduction

How to do it

Stand side-on to a low pulley with the ankle cuff on the leg **nearest** the machine, and hold the tower with your hand for balance. Let that leg drift out a little to create tension and bring it **inwards, crossing in front of the other**, without bending the knee; return slowly without letting the cable pull you. You feel the adductor on the inner thigh. The classic mistake is leaning your torso away for leverage: your body stays upright.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
