Cable Deadlifts

How to do it

Pulleys at the bottom and stand right between the two towers, a handle in each hand. Hinge down with a flat back and straight arms until your hands are below your knees; stand by extending hips and knees. The cable pulls forward and down, so the line of force differs from a bar: the glutes squeeze harder at the top. It is a version that is kind to the lower back. The classic mistake is pulling with the arms: the elbows stay straight throughout.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
