Bent Press
Core · Kettlebell
How to do it
Clean the kettlebell to your shoulder. Turn your toes to the opposite side and, **keeping the arm still while your body bends underneath it**, push your hip out and lean sideways sliding your free hand down your leg; the kettlebell arm straightens by itself, without pressing. Once you are down there with the elbow locked, stand back up keeping it overhead. It is an old and very technical lift: **start with no weight**. The classic mistake is pressing with the shoulder instead of lowering your body.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
