Front Barbell Squat

How to do it

Bar on your front delts, elbows high and chest up: if the elbows drop, the bar goes. Descend vertically keeping the torso as upright as you can. With the load in front, the work shifts to the quads and away from the posterior chain, and the back takes less. You feel the quads badly. The classic mistake is dropping the elbows on the way up: the bar rolls off.
