Drag Curl

How to do it

Standing with a bar. Instead of curling in an arc, **drag it up against your body** by pulling the elbows back. The bar travels in a straight line brushing your torso. The range is shorter but it keeps tension on the biceps without the shoulder helping. You feel the biceps with no forward elbow drift. Moderate weight.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
