Dips - Chest Version

How to do it

Take the bars and start with your arms straight. To make this a chest exercise instead of a triceps one, **lean the torso forward** about 30 degrees, let the elbows flare a little and leave the hips behind you. Lower until you feel the chest stretch, usually when the shoulder reaches elbow height, and come up without locking out hard. You feel the lower chest. A pinch in the front of the shoulder means you went too deep: cut the range.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
