Chin-Up

How to do it

Underhand grip at shoulder width. Pull until your chin clears the bar, driving the elbows down and forward. The supinated grip brings in a lot of biceps, which is why almost everyone does more chin-ups than pull-ups: that is normal, not cheating. You feel lats and biceps almost equally.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
