Dumbbell Incline Row
Back · Dumbbell · ×2 dumbbells
You hold two: the weight you log is ONE dumbbell's, and volume counts both.
How to do it
Incline bench at about 30 degrees with your chest on it, dumbbells hanging. Pull driving the elbows back and up, squeezing the blades at the end. The supported chest **removes the swing cheat** and takes the lower back out of the equation, which makes it one of the best rows for piling up volume without extra fatigue. You feel mid back and lower traps. The classic mistake is peeling your chest off the bench as you pull.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
