Rowing, Stationary

How to do it

Order matters: **legs, body, arms** on the drive, and arms, body, legs on the recovery. Start with vertical shins, push with the legs, then swing the torso back and finally pull the handle to your abdomen. The power comes from the legs, not the arms. You feel back, legs and lungs. The classic mistake is pulling with the arms first with a rounded back.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
