Rack Pulls
Back · Barbell
How to do it
Bar in the rack pins at knee height or just below. Set up like a deadlift, chest tall, bar against your legs, and lock out by driving your hips forward. Cutting the range lets you load more than a full deadlift, and that is the point: overloading the top of the pull and the upper back. You feel traps, lats and grip. The classic mistake is bouncing the bar off the pins and counting it.
