Monster Walk
Glutes · Band
How to do it
Band above your knees, standing or lying on your side. Open the leg against the band without rotating the hip, and return under control. It works the gluteus medius, which is what keeps your pelvis level when you walk and when you squat on one leg. You feel it on the side of the hip. High reps.
Variants
The drawing is a monster walk. With the band above the knees and no walking — seated or lying on your side — you work the same thing.
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
