Knee/Hip Raise On Parallel Bars

How to do it

Hanging from the bar, bring your knees to your chest curling the pelvis at the top. It is the step before straight-leg raises: same movement, shorter lever. Lower under control. You feel the lower abs. When you can do 15 clean reps, move to straight legs.

Variants

The drawing is on parallel bars, resting on the elbows. Hanging from a bar works the same, plus the grip, which is usually what gives up first.

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
