Snatch Deadlift

How to do it

This is the first pull of the snatch done slowly. Bar on the floor with a **very wide grip**; feet under your hips with toes slightly out. Hips low, chest up and shoulders ahead of the bar. Lift keeping **your torso angle fixed** until the bar passes your knees, and only then finish extending the hips. It lets you load more than a snatch and drill the start position, which is where most attempts are lost. The classic mistake is the hips rising before the chest.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
