Seated Leg Tucks
Core · Bodyweight
How to do it
Sit on the end of a bench holding the sides with your legs extended out slightly below parallel. Lean back a little and **tuck your knees to your chest**, hold a second, and extend slowly without your feet touching the floor. It is the simplest version of the seated tuck, and with your hands on the bench you can dial in how much you help. The classic mistake is leaning far back for leverage: the torso stays close to upright.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
