Seated Head Harness Neck Resistance

How to do it

Put the head harness with its weight on the floor at the end of a flat bench. Sit on the edge with your feet wider than your shoulders, fit the harness and rest your elbows on your thighs. Lower your chin towards your chest under control and rise by extending the neck to neutral. Very slow in both directions. This is neck work with real progressive load, which isometrics cannot give you. **Start with the harness empty.** The classic mistake is jerking: the neck is never trained fast.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
