Push-Ups With Feet Elevated

How to do it

Hands on the floor slightly wider than your shoulders and toes up on a bench. Body straight from heels to head, glutes squeezed. Lower until your chest almost brushes the floor, breathing in, and press as you breathe out. **The higher the bench, the harder it gets**: this is how you progress a push-up without adding weight. With the hips above the shoulders the work moves to the upper chest and the front delt. The classic mistake is the hips sagging as you tire, which hands the lower back what the abs can no longer hold.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
