Plyo Kettlebell Pushups
Chest · Kettlebell
How to do it
Put a kettlebell on the floor and get into a push-up position with one hand on the ground and the other on the handle, body straight. Lower as far as you can with a flat back and push explosively to jump across the kettlebell, swapping hands in the air. This is power, not volume: short sets, full rest, and only when fresh. You feel the chest and triceps firing and the abs controlling the landing. The classic mistake is doing it tired: once you stop leaving the floor cleanly, your hand lands crooked on the handle.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
