Plate Pinch

How to do it
Take two wide-rimmed plates and put them together with the **smooth sides facing out**. Grip them with your fingers on one side and thumb on the other, **with the pinch alone**, and hold them hanging at your side for as long as you can. When they drop, the set is over. It trains thumb pinch strength, which no barbell ever touches. The classic mistake is resting the plates on your thigh without noticing: the arm hangs free, not touching your body.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
