One-Arm Kettlebell Military Press To The Side
Shoulders · Kettlebell
How to do it
Kettlebell racked on your shoulder. Press up **opening the arm outwards**, so it locks out on a diagonal instead of beside your ear, while your torso stays upright. Lower the same way. Opening the path brings in far more side delt than a normal military press, and the core works twice as hard to keep you from leaning. **No leg drive.** The classic mistake is leaning away to get it up: that is the sign that this weight is not yours yet.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
