One-Arm Kettlebell Floor Press
Chest · Kettlebell
How to do it
Lie on the floor with a kettlebell in one hand and that upper arm resting down, palm facing in. Press towards the ceiling, rotating the wrist so you finish knuckles up, and lower until the elbow touches down again. Keep the kettlebell above the elbow, never hanging behind it. The floor cuts the range and protects the shoulder; the rotation puts your hand where the wrist does not fold. You feel the chest and the triceps at lockout. The classic mistake is letting the handle fall back: that is what wrecks the wrist, not the weight.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
